This building concept is born with a vocation to become a vibrant destination and New

Landmark/Land-Art in the Surrey area. It is an elegant shelter and also a natural forest ‘chapel’,

providing a scaled sensory experience of celebration of human’s relationship with nature.

We have been inspired ourselves by the Woodland Trust logo as a leaf captures in a simple form a

great deal of the meaning associated to this project as we understand it. A leaf at scale creates the

best mechanism of engagement with the site. Its organic shape and size immediately overwhelms

the visitors and establish a connection between them and the natural woodland surrounding

bringing their attention towards the IWW Memorial.
